BB Bold 9000
please anyone tell me how were can i download skype for my phone? i tried IM+Talk that worked but we can only call on that like wakie takie. means 1 person can speak at a time.. i have to press the key for my voice to hear to the other person.
i found a software name: iSkoot i heared that it also has skype. i have downloaded on my desktop so how can i install this on my phone? please anyone help me with anything? |
Re: BB Bold 9000
Unfortunately, Skype will not work on your 9000.
iskoot will allow you to make and receive calls using your Skyoe contact list. Your best bet would be to contact iskoot's help dept. I don't even think the app is supported anymore. |
Re: BB Bold 9000
And what about IM+ Talk??this allows to make free VoIP calls in half-duplex mode, similar to a walkie-talkie. so we cant talk is there any trick to cut this half-duplex mode?

Re: BB Bold 9000
When trying to troubleshoot an app, it's best to head to the source.
Viber - Free calls, Free text messages, photo and location sharing (Support Forums) @Viber (Twitter) https://www.facebook.com/viber (Facebook) One of those resources should be able to help you out. Don't forget to include Country/BlackBerry Model/Carrier |
Re: BB Bold 9000
Were can I find it source?

Re: BB Bold 9000
By "source" he meant ask the app creators for help. Go to the website for the app and click on the Support link.

Re: BB Bold 9000

i tried to install viber from mobile it was showing few files were missing.. if i update to software will viber run? if yes than tell me how can i update my software? |
Re: BB Bold 9000
As others have indicated, you need to direct these questions to the Viber developers. They are the one who can tell you how the application interacts with your device.

Re: BB Bold 9000
We really cannot help users with these types of issues. The best people for you to contact would be your service provider. Especially if it involves billing/data usage.
Is it possible some third party app is using your mobile network instead of WiFi? Probably. You can also consider, that you have been really interested in voIP calling and unless you are connected to a WiFi network, you will be charged for the data sent/received. I suppose you could also disable Network Services but some apps need that connection to be there. Perhaps you need to upgrade your existing service package to another one? Contact your provider will certainly help you in either case. |

From your device browser, you should be able to download it directly to your device. |
Re: BB Bold 9000
Not working. It says: unable to find requested server. And when I turned on the sim card it says: unable to connect to internet

Re: BB Bold 9000
That's a problem with your device, not iskoot.

The Communication Port Selection screen will be displayed and the connection will be blank. This is a very important step where speed is essential. Plug in the phone, (do not insert the battery) and the sound indication from the PC will indicate the driver being installed from the BlackBerry device. This screen will stay up, but the connection will change to unknown, and the next button will be made available. The connection box will now change to USB-PIN:UNKNOWN. This is where the NEXT button must be clicked quickly. If the BlackBerry device has been displaying the 507 screen, urgency isnxxx8217;t required, but if the phone has been caught in a constant reboot stage, it is imperative that the next button is clicked before the Application Loader reads and identifies the PIN of the device. If the PIN displays, cancel the whole process, unplug the phone, and restart the whole process again, ensuring that the next button is clicked before the PIN shows. This is what stops the phone from rebooting from the damaged Operating System. The Application Loader will now retrieve the device configuration connect to the Java Virtual Machine (JVM). Let it run itxxx8217;s course, and eventually the Device Application Screen will load. It is now time to plug the battery in while this process is occurring. Seems the above is pretty straight forward. It's not a matter of just plugging it in. |
