BES - Unable to resolved application
 

Hi guys,

I am having issue about the application push on my BES server. My version is BES 5.02. I have an application need to push via wireless method. So what I am doing is to create the share folder, upload the zip package and create a software configuration. After the related procedure is done, I assign this software configuration to some users account. Most of them can be seen the application with clicking the view resolved applications and is able to resend the application. But some of the them cannot be done by using this way. When I clicked the view resolved applications or view resolved application control policy, there have not resend button and also no application name in the policy (I am using optional application control policy). I went to the deployment job tasks and no job has been scheduled. The user account has the latest contact time with BES server.

Do anyone have the idea why it cannot push the application to their blackberry?

For those devices that do not work, is there a common trait for them? Are they all the same model? E.g. the newest Torch (OS6)? If yes, the application may not have cater for the OS 6 cod and alx files... I have seen that no jobs created for an old Sametime BBIM client that does not have a "6.0" folder in the package and have to request for a latest version so that those Torches get the apps. Check that out.

Both of them have the same version of blackberry (They are using 9700 with OS 5.0)....

9700 are upgradable to OS 6.0 as well. Ascertain? Otherwise, may need to get one for testing deploying again and watch the BAS-AS + POLC logs.
