Unlocked but now battery life horrible

I unlocked my Torch yesterday to use another carrier, but ever since then, my battery drains within a few hours. Up until I unlocked it, the battery would last all day.

I have turned the Network Selection Mode to Manual already to try to avoid roaming draining the battery.

Does anyone have any advice? I'm really frustrated by this!

From what carrier did you unlock it and on what carrier are you using it now? Do you have a BlackBerry data plan?

It was locked to Rogers. There is currently still a Rogers SIM in it as I was unlocking it for International travel. There is no Blackberry data plan currently.

Did you used to have a BlackBerry data plan?
