SuperC
I found a posting on another site with all the correct settings. Don't know if I'm allowed to post links to other forums.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

I heard good things about the program but was never able to set it up properly. Maybe the OP will have better luck.

A good ripper is here: HandBrake

And there are some good converters here: Videora - BitTorrent RSS Reader

A good article on PCMag is here: 7 Tools for Ripping Your DVDs - Reviews by PC Magazine

Any Video Converter works well on any video you have now. It will also download and convert YouTube videos as well. You have to pay for it for DVD ripping though.

I actually have this converter, but the reason i wasnt gonna use it for the Storm, was because when i used to use it for my Pearl, and i went to the Save and Encode, it would detect my device....Now some big O error comes out when i do it with the Storm....anybody have a clue...?

This one looks promising. A 1 step operation. I have only just begun to test it out but for the curve it is one of the few that seems to be able to create the mp4 and 3gp formats that the curve requires. And it's free.
MobiDVD - I don't have enuf posts to put a link in. Search on it.

Has anyone tried Media Studio for Blackberry? It is available from BlackberrySoftwareList.net along with other apps and games (none of which are Storm-specific).

Just curious.

So, like where on that link is Media Studio for Blackberry. I don't see it.

Mobidvd did not work on my windows vista laptop... gave me an error message when I try to run it... trying AnyDVD right now, will post results when I finish converting my first video.

I really like fair use wizard. Works for all kinds of things like iPods and stuff... Even converts divx to a format that is readable on most players.

I tried this app and it works like a charm, and yes it is FREE. Choose custom MP4 setting, change aspect ratio to 480 x 320, 768 video bitrate, and you are good to go.

I just converted wall-e onto my storm and the video is flawless. Just make sure you convert a high quality vid to begin with.

modulo 11-30-2008 02:05 AM

i used the roxio media manager that came with my storm to convert avi to mp4, its been working great, play back is awesome on that huge screen.
