Too many people in government love BlackBerry. They won't let RIM fall.

i knew it was bound to happent hat the government would step in... I alone knew that due to the fact i work for the air force base in homestead and alone on base there are more than 100 blackberry uses supplied by the air force.....blackberry in general is a device the air force cant be without....and it saves alot of money for them

I wish it were that simple. The government can ask but the judge can deny. It really is up to him. No matter how important the government thinks it is, the judge has ultimate power and control here.

I tust that an agreement will be worked out. It is all about money. Three things can happen.
1) The judge rules in the favor of Blackberry and tells this pest to move on. 2) Blackberry pays them off 3) Blackberry changes it's system to avoid the infringement. What ever happens, BB service will not have the plug pulled. Way too much money involved here. |
man...i want one today...i can't wait any longer!!

Ditto, but it ain't looking good for today unfortunately.

From BBHub:
http://www.bbhub.com/2005/11/18/ntp-...ment-agencies/ In court papers filed yesterday, NTP suggested that that wireless carriers providing BlackBerry service might draw up a "white list" of government users who would be exempt from interruption of service. |
Like Laura Bush, remember her aid handing her a BB?
