Restore not listing/restoring bookmarks
 

Hello,
Today I moved from a Bold 9000 to a 9700. I am on a BES and have access to the server. I backed up the 9000 using the desktop software. I restored to the 9700. At first I could not restore password keeper or bookmarks (my primary concerns) but after I disabled wireless backup on the server for my device, the Password keeper restored (whew, 50+ passwords). However the bookmarks, though listed when I did the backup, are not listed in the databases that will be restored nor are they restored.

Also, out of curiosity, I went to backup the NEW device and noticed quite a few grayed out databases (including bookmarks) and the desktop manager says that the databases that are grayed out are that way because they are enabled for wireless backup, which my device no longer is. So I found that odd. Not sure if it means anything to anyone. Thanks for reading, and for any info on how I can get my bookmarks moved over.

Not sure if this is a violation of forum etiquette, but I am going to answer my own question, so there is a solution available if anyone else is ever looking for it. It's probably posted somewhere, but I couldn't find it.

Delete the Desktop sync service book. That will ungray the databases. Undelete it (in menu) after done restoring.
