Gmail on 8100 Pearl
 

Hi All, does anyone know how I might install the Gmail .cod file on my BB thru DTM I have the COD file but do not know how to create an alx file to add it as an app via application loader in DTM.

I have rather stupidly tried to edit an existing alx file but no success at all.
Hope you can help.. Thank here is an example od what I have done. I just tried my luck with the app id and version.:oops:

Why don't you download Gmail via your browser?

Hi Unfortunately I do not have a BES or BIS account on my personal BB and have Opera Mini Browser which does not install Gmail app.

I do have it on my car phone though I use the phone as it came with a fitted cradle in the card for charging handsfree and bluetooth. Will change for bB someday when someone invent a charging cradle for BB for car:smile:

I just downloaded the gmail app and I likey. I use empower mail viewer to see my gmail, but I might have to make the switch.

I just made a zip file with all the necessities for my Pearl 8130.
