Question?

I had a look at this phone on RIM's comparison chart with the Bold being the second phone to compare it to... Why is RIM releasing this phone? I mean 3MP camera is cool but there is no bluetooh support in the device, so I guess that means people have bluetooh head phones and or bluetooh in their cars won't be buying it anytime soon. :-)

According to the comparison I just looked at (Bold, 8900, Tour), the Tour DOES have Bluetooth (of bluetooh) - "Bluetooth v2.0; mono/stereo headset, hands-free, Phone Book Access Profile (PBAP), and serial port profile supported. Bluetooth stereo audio (A2DP/AVCRP), DUN".

Perhaps it is being released since CDMA carriers do not have a Bold or Javelin equivalent yet.

Yes. I am a CDMA user waiting for this hybrid of the two.

Agree!

Yes, I hope the increased memory eliminates the laggyness that I've experienced with every blackberry I've owned.

If the increased memory doesn't help the processor will.

Most of us will know the answers to these questions in just a few short days... :-)

I can't wait!
