Tired of removing batteries to fix small errors

So I must say...this has been the worst, supposedly, upgrade ever. So I went from a BB9530 to BB9930 and it has been a good experience. I thought having the OS7 will eliminate all the previous quirks in OS5 - 6 but not at all. I have to remove the battery every time I have a little problem and wait for ages for my phone to reboot. I have issues some times when I call people; they can't hear me and I can't hear them either. Once my phone goes idle, it completely freezes and will take about 5 seconds to get back. Every time I call, I hear the same stupid question: Have you removed your battery since this problem started? Isn't there another way correct BB issues anymore? So what are the OS updates suppose to correct? I hate to say it but iPhone is looking more interesting than ever......I'm not an apple fan but I'd rather go iPhone than Android....my preference would be to stick with BB but it seems there goals are misplaced with the ever changing smartphone world.

You seem to want to rant rather than understand, but for what it's worth:

The reason customer service asks if you've tried a battery pull, or asks you to do a battery pull, is because that is the first troubleshooting step, and it almost always corrects weird issues. It would be irresponsible to not try a battery pull first thing.

But if you are having to do a battery pull all the time, something's wrong. I tend to doubt the problem is the device and my suspicion is an app or apps (or theme).
