Playbook Media Remote?
I have a wireless pair of headphones and I have it connected to my playbook via a dongle to the headphone slot.
I want to know if there exists a remote controller than can switch music tracks without me having to pull out my playbook? I usually keep the playbook in a backpack. In a perfect case it would be a bluetooth mini media remote control. I have seen some mini blue tooth keyboards such as the hipstreet that advertises playbook comparable for under 40. Does any one know of anything more portable/ maybe cheaper? |
Re: Playbook Media Remote?
I have a pair of Bluetooth Motorola "DJ" Headphones that I love, and they have pause, volume, next track and last track controls built in. The key is to go with dedicated BT headphones, I suppose. Dongles just don't deliver full controls.

Re: Playbook Media Remote?
Yup, what Jase88 said. I use Rocketfish BT headphones with the same features on my Playbook and Z10.

Re: Playbook Media Remote?
The thing is these headphones are actually quite a nice pair. It is the playbooks fault it cannot support the type of bluetooth it uses. They are a sony pulse elite and the headphones are amazing. Truly unique too! Does anyone at least know of a cheap mini bluetooth keyboard that has media buttons and works with the playbook?

Re: Playbook Media Remote?
I don't see an edit button so forgive me for the double post:
I purchased the hip street universal mini keyboard from amazon. I will update this thread in a couple of days when it arrives detailing if it worked etc. |
Re: Playbook Media Remote?
Once again no edit available forgive double post:
The mini bluetooth keyboard arrived (the hipstreet universal) It does pair with my playbook and most keys work, sadly not the media keys. Maybe I can find a different music player that will work with it but at the moment no go. |
