8900 Curve Evo unit
Hi all,
I got a BB Curve 8900 evaluation unit. Unfortunately it stopped working, how can i get it to work again? tnx in advance! |
Re: 8900 Curve Evo unit
Is it an 8900 as in your post or a 9800 as in your profile?
What do you mean by evaluation unit - a RIM engineering device perhaps? And what do you mean by "stopped working"? We need more information. |

At this moment the BB wont get on, even if I change the battery. All I see is that the led turns red for a second and then it stops again. |
Re: 8900 Curve Evo unit
If it is a true RIM engineering model, it might have been disabled by RIM. Plus most of those have non-working/disabled/banned PINs which make it useless for anything except phone and SMS.

Nevertheless it seems that for now I should get rid of the phone as it is useless... |
Re: 8900 Curve Evo unit
If it isn't it will be. Engineering units are just that, engineering testing. I am surprised that it worked this long.
