The comments there are as interesting or more so than google's article.
Google being able to remove stuff and add stuff and only afterward notifying the user that it was done wouldn't sit well with me. If there's a 'way in' how can it be guaranteed, beyond doubt, that no one else but google will know how or be capable of using it? Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile |

i dont think they can push the new app, but only ota updates, since my droid is rooted i noticed i cant even auto install ota updates i have to push them to the phone manually. as for the wipe, i cant say i didnt have any of the listed apps.
i do know apple, google and amazon all carry a remote remove door that all the 3 vendors can remove any app they chose from the device. |
