Why are you doing the erase. do a wipe and if needed reload the OS then reboot it with a battery pull . Do not erase the loaded OS. Do not add any Apps.
Do it on a PC local connection not over the internet.

The reason why I erased the OS and restarted the phone was so I could see what the main problem is. So I found out that with a corrupt OS/ or without the OS, I get the error messages. But when I do a full re-installation of the OS I get nothing, meaning the OS has no problem. And that clears any OS related suspicions. Am left with the hardware now. Sadly I have no way of testing that problem... And I might need some help with the local connection. I am not familiar with that! :-)

ok , from the beginning.
after the clean OS load your waiting for a completion and it should reboot itself.
You don't get any error messages. what is on the display? it may take a while to reboot after the reload so how long are you waiting to determine its not working?
it is slow as aiharkness said above.

Ok, good. Yes, as I load the OS it reboots at some point. And on the screen an icon @ first; the one that shows that your device has connected to your PC. Then it goes blank and stays blank for the duration of the OS installation. When done it reboots, gets to that same spot it gets stuck at. I wait for about 30 minutes, 40 tops. Isn't that enough? Does it take hours to boot for the first time after a clean OS installation??

Re: BB9900 stuck on boot

ok , this link offers details on reloading the type of BB you have and using Desktop Manager.
I used it to reload a 9810 a few days ago to see if it is accurate and caused any issues. It did take a long time and I thought it was stuck but finally did load and reboot.
I also did a wipe on a Z10 and the reload took over 1 hour and a boot took 37 minutes. subsequent reboots took 3 to 4 minutes.

Give this a read and see if it helps.

@tsac; Sorry I've taken long to reply. I followed the steps in the link. Still no success bro. Still gets stuck. Left it for about an hour or so, still nothing. At some point it just restarted (reboot) on its own and stopped in the same spot! Am running out of options here I guess!

I think we tried just about every trick in the book. Sadly it looks like it may be a hardware issue. Just like in a PC computer, the memory if an upper segment is defective when the data reaches it the process fails. That's what it seems at this point.
You may find a used BB you can buy cheap on Amazon. I looked and see one for $79.00 US.

Good luck

Yeah, bro. I thank you for all the help man! You've been great! Will try to look that phone up on Amazon. I have never actually bought something off amazon, this will be my first time, but am sure I will do just fine! Thanks man!
