9800 or 9900

I have a similar thread on the 9900 forum. I just relocated back to the States from overseas. I have both a 9900 and a 9800. Any recommendations for which one might be the better choice? Mostly use email, Google Search, and GPS

9900 is better performance wise in all areas

Thanks. I think that is the way that I will be going. Employer just gave me a 9900 to run off of the BES and it made me think that I had a perfectly good TMO 9900 and it might be good to standardize. But the 9800 screen was so nice for GPS use. But, hopefully, the GPS will be reduced in importance and I will be back to emailing and searching more.

Appreciate the advice.

Knotyrope is right. A better comparison would be a 99xx vs 9810 which both have the same processor and can run the same OS level. Then it comes down to fixed vs sliding keyboard, screen size and whether you need NFC.

In my opinion 9900 is the better choice. It has better features than 9800 and don't go for sliding phones, they has a ribbon problem.

9900, 9860 and 9810 are about equal in most features and specs cept for NFC, BT specs and a few more I cant think of.

9800 is a 600 mhz CPU compared to 1.2 ghz on the above devices

Its an entirely personal choice but I have a 9810 and I think its great. But if I could change my choice now I think I would have gotten the 9900 I miss the NFC that my Torch simply does not have.
