Must have apps

Everybody uses the PIM applications but outside of those what are your must have applications? I am looking for a good source of software and free is good. What do you guys use the most?

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

I use Google maps a lot, suprisingly, and Ramble. Berry411 is helpful as well.

Google Maps is the best! Then JiveTalk, Berry411, Texas Hold'em, Opera Mini, Yahoo! Go, and Pearl Color Changer App by Cworx. Those are my favs.

Yahoo messenger question

Back in the the day I couldn't send pages to my buddies phones like this :

[email address] without getting a charge for mms messages. I argued with nextel that this was a email but they state its a text page or mms.

So a way around it was to log onto yahoo and send an email threw that. My bb wouldn't work with pop ups for putting in the contacts so I couldn't get it to work.
Is there a mobile version of yahoo where I can log on to my account and send those vtext kinds of address without charge?

bulldoggy 04-05-2007 09:46 PM

Type Yahoo! Front Page into your browser and you will see a link for Yahoo Mail. Click the link and it will prompt you for your yahoo ID & password.

Don't know if it supports the vtext addresses or not. If it works with regular Yahoo Mail I don't see why it wouldn't work with the mobile version.

EDIT: Sorry... I just realized you were referring to Yahoo Messenger... Blackberry has it's own Yahoo Messenger client... see >> here <<

Also, you can try out >> Yahoo! Go <<

Tritan-

Telenav costs approximately $10 a month... probably worth every penny for a fireman/EMT...

trackIT, Vechicle Edition (great if you own your own business, or need to tack mileage)
Follow Up, Tag It and Magic Mail

And currently looking for a good CRM program that doesn't cost an arm and a leg

I can sit on the beach and take care of almost everything.

bigberry 04-06-2007 01:25 AM
