is it a battery error?
 

i have the 8520 curve and when i open two much apps the phone freezes or switches off but when i plug my phone into the charger this error never happens even if i am opening two much apps at the same timei am using the c-s2 battery shall i buy a better one or is it a charging error?

Sounds more like opening too many apps given the available memory and processing power. I can't explain why having the device plugged in makes a difference. But I really doubt a new battery will make a difference.
