Question about programmatically creating a memopad entry
 

I found the APIs to work with Contacts, Events and ToDo entries but not the Memopad. Is there an API to create a memopad entry and if so, what is it?

You might be able to do this via the protected API "net.rim.blackberry.api.pim"

If you plan to publicly distribute an application that interacts with the memopad, you will need to get your app signed by RIM. However, you can debug your app in the BlackBerry emulator freely available for download from RIM's site.
