Desktop Software Manager BETA 4.6.0.6

I installed it and found the syncing to be much faster than the 4.5.0.14 beta.

There is start button for Blackberry Media Sync but it won't start for me - it tries to download something then fails.

At least the minimize to system tray still works.

JSanders 06-11-2008 04:42 PM

the download is not working yet because I'm assuming RIM doesn't have the site up yet, being beta and all.. my guess.

I figured that as well. Just surprising to see a 100MB download but no working media manager.

Sync took 1 minute, 10 seconds. About 300 calendar entries and 400 contacts plus a small amount of misc tasks and memos.

Wirelessly posted (BB 11020)

Media manager DM downloads are near 300MB

Sounds like a really big file for what it does

ShaynePierce 06-12-2008 12:36 PM

Trying it. The problem I have noticed is that Outlook stops displaying the calendar and email after a few minutes while both are running. I have to shut down both and the restart Outlook to see those items. I am not sure whether syncing causes the issue ot just concurrent use of the program. Another person here at my office told me he is seeing the same issue.

interesting

jeffmik 06-12-2008 02:01 PM

I do not have that problem. Outlook 2007 sp1 in Vista sp1.

Shagasaur 06-12-2008 04:47 PM
