Text Issues... Uncaught exception

Hey whats going on?

Heres the deal...

Few days ago (Friday night) my batt was dead on the BB and I knew I was getting texts at the time, so i asked my friend with a jailbroken Iphone if I can throw in my SIM card in his phone and text from that. So I did that and everything was fine and dandy... I was charging my phone in the mean-time. Well after about 20-30 mins, I swap SIM cards again and upon starting, I get a notification saying "Uncaught Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException" Or something like that. I was like ok whatever maybe its nothing.

First thing I notice is my sms text icon is completely missing. I thought it may have moved to my main menu, but i couldnt find it. I searched for my sms text messages, but could not find it at ALL, like no history, nothing. I found that I still have my MMS messages and my emails. So I told my friend to send me a text and I got nothing. I sent HIM one and he recieved it. Weird. Then later on I got a pic message from a friend. And then an email from another. so the only thing NOT working is the text (which is my primary use of my phone :-()...

So... I tried almost everything I could think of. I turned off the phone (red button)... nothing. I did the ALT, [right] CAPS button, and DEL to reboot... nothing. I pulled the battery w the phone on multiple times... nothing. I checked to make sure the messages were separate and not combined, and switched it all around... nothing. Im completely lost and NEED my texting back. Everything else in the phone works.

I tried to do the backup and restore from blackberry manager, but when I did the advanced option, i didnt even see the sms text as an option to click. This is getting REAL frustrating. Cant anyone help? And preferably fast... Thanks in advanced.

Oh, btw its a BB bold 9000.
