Used to run .448 and now 486. Nothing noticeably better or worse yet. Time will tell I guess.

after about 24 hours of use....My phone stays in 3G unlike in .450 I would bounce in from edge to 3G constantly.

Seemed ever so slightly more responsive BUT every time I click on podcast I get an uncaught exception error, and Google maps directions don't seem to work any more. in .450 they both worked fine.

yeah i having strange issues with BlackBerry News Feeds but aside from that, this release is phenomenal. Noticeably faster than .450 and that's never a bad thing. :) and when combined with the new twitter for bb release from a few days ago, blackberry is truly becoming a serious social media device. love it!

Ok, here are my issues thus far:

1. I have 3 custom ringtone/alert tones set and several people categorized within each group. No matter what setting I use, my custom alerts will not follow the active profile. Doesn't matter if its on phone calls only or vibrate. I checked my custom settings and each is set to "active profile."

2. I'm getting that uncaught exception null point thing (not a deal breaker)

3. Yesterday, I had a hard time getting phone to reboot. On one occasion, I got the Built in media could not be accessed due to errors. It was able to repair itself but that seems like a bad omen.

.448 and .450 fixed my "dancing icon" issues which was the main issue with previous OSs on my Torch. I note above that .486 seems to lock in on 3g. My main issue with .450 and .448 is that I have trouble keeping with my carrier (Rogers) or having no signal in weak signal areas (where I used to get a signal) and might be tempted to go for .486.
However this OS seems buggie. Goggle Maps not working properly? Uncaught exceptions with youtube? No thank you. OS .448 and .450 have been very stable for me with no program issues. I think I will take a pass.

I have no problem with neither on my torch running 486 and I was an early adopter. :-)

See a number of issues with this one. I've had the phone reboot itself a couple of times a day with wifi on but not connected. Turning wifi off and the problem went away. Also have seen the hourglass a LOT more often. Even to the point of studdering ringtones. Never had that on prior releases. Once I get home, I'll revert back to 450.

More Than A Week now my Torch loaded with .486 (upgrading from .450), so far so good & no problem at all. Plus the bootable time much2 faster compare to the previous release.. (o:

yeah i have issues while in a text message thread I'm unable to select text unless i use the touchpad and sometimes I still have to pres the alt button. But the connectivity is way more solid than .450 so I'll live with it.
