UK release?

Wonder when this will be released in the UK - only reference was in The Times Online site stating that it will be out later this year in the UK

In time for the Christmas rush? Will be interesting to see how this sells compared to the other mainstream phone manufacturers - possibly a Pay As You Go phone as well?

So far the only Blackberry Pearls i can find are unlocked, sim free items retailing for circa £350

Still no news on what UK networks are snapping them up

Well after much searching it seems that O2 have it already and Orange will have it soon enough...

I couldn't wait and have placed my order for the Blackberry 8220 on O2 from Mobiles.co.uk - 18 month contract @ £35 p/m however i do get £220 cashback!! Not bad start already - can't wait to get the phone!
