New user here....HELP!!!!!

Hello there. I am new in the BlackBerry world...so far I love it, until today. After returning froma trip (yes, used BB a LOT) I was sitting @ office only to find that ALL emails that I get in my computer I also get them on the BB. I do not want to get emails when I am @ office, how do I do this? Do I have to delete the 'e-mail accounts'? Just turn off wireless? WHAT TO DO?? PLS HELP!!!!

The BB BIS is a "push" email system meaning all the email is pushed tothe BB device. I don't know of a way to stop it. Maybe some of the power users here can help.

If you are using BES / Redirector, you can tell it to stop forwarding emails to the BB when you have it connected to your computer.

Otherwise, if you are using BIS, then I believe you just have to deal with it. But it shouldn't be a problem to just go to the top of the messages at the end of the day and select "Delete Prior" and delete them all if you like to keep the blackberry clean.

Gerardo, the best hint I can give is to see if it is possible to set up a filter in BES or BIS to stop e-mails from being pushed during certain hours.

You would only be using a BES if you worked at a company that hosts their own and all employees with BBs used it, or if you were paying for it from a BES Host like link2exchange.com or exchangemymail.com or mailstreet.com - otherwise, you're using BIS.
