Blackberry Maps is nowhere to be seen

Hello

I have a blackberry 9700. version is 5.0.0.586. The blackberry maps is installed in the device but it in nowhere to be seen.... i tried changing the theme... i tried opening up all the hideen files but it is nowhere...

If i go to Option==>Advanced Options==>Maps. The default service is set to None and u cant change that..... he Host Routing Table is still not registered and in Service Book i dont see any BB maps thing written

I just bought this few days ago and i dont know much abt the Blackberry system... I know that in order to have the BBM or BB maps or email we need to have the BB data plan which i dont have it still....but this doesnt mean that BB maps should be invisible......Because the BB messenger is visible.... so why just the BB maps? is it something to do with the device or to do with the network provider or is it because i dont have the BB data plan yet?

you need a BB data plan. even still some carriers block BB maps.

please use the search at top of forum. this has been discussed many times.

lol, so what are you trying to get satisified? Some things just aren't visible until you get the data plan and service books are pushed to your device.
