You can go to blackberry.com site for the latest OS but if your not having any issues with your current load I would stay on it. If you read the posts in this section you will see many issues with upgrading. Unless your very comfortable with the upgrade and restore process and have time and do not rush the process it may be ok.
blackberry.com will detect your country and from there you can see what's available

Moving to 10.3 blocks reverting to a lower level so make sure you read all the instructions and don't try to do any upgrades over the air. Also do full backup of all your data.

.... Be sure you fully understand the new anti-theft feature in 10.3.2. As tsac says, you will no longer be able to downgrade, but make sure you don't lock yourself out of the device.

As far as autoloaders, I don't think there is any worry in general. Do your due diligence and make sure you know what you are doing. There is also Sachesi. Same applies there.

Good luck.

aiharkness, I was hesitant to go into much detail because the OP seemed less experienced and may be in a country where there are restrictions. also not having a carrier is troubling. We both posted on the forum when 10.3 came out and had a lot of issues. I had to do a lot to get it to work including some of your suggestions then.

Re: Blackberyy z10 -stl 100-4 no update

I think OP meant there is no carrier support. I know on the official BlackBerry support forums there are many users in India posting and asking about updates. Unfortunately, unless the device is an unbranded model purchased from Shop BlackBerry or Amazon, those users will never see an OS update unless they do it themselves. And the early versions of BB10 really are immature compared to 10.3.2. I know I wouldn't want to be stuck on 10.2.1 knowing 10.3.2 was there to be had.

I think if someone upgrades to a latest version they would avoid the problems you refer to. I think the only really severe issue was the Z30 display issue.

But users stepping into the unofficial territory do need to do research and know the risk. I agree with that. All we can to is help the best we know how. It's up to the OP to make the decisions.
