Another touch screen ???
 
OK so you know how the I phone got a feature when you cover the ear speaker the screen turns off so you wont hit buttons while using the phone .... Well dose any one know if the torch has this because I find my self hitting buttons on the touch screen PLEASE HELP ....

Yes, the Torch has a proximity sensor.
It will disable the touch screen when the phone is in use and being held near your ear.

personally, I have never had an issue with the Torch's touchscreen when using the phone.
just sayin'...

I figured it out its the screen protector .... Geee I cant just get one too work WOW this is crazy LOL ..... Any one with a privacy screen that WORKS >>>> Touch screen , Sensor AKA the whole phone its self ?

I had a rep at an AT&T corporate store put a screen protector on and I have had no issues. The screen works as designed.:bb:

A number of people have found that privacy screen protectors have affected the proximity sensor's operation. The solution is to cut a bit out of the screen protector to the right of where the LED is on the phone and it will work fine. Mine works fine with a standard non privacy screen protector and did not need a bit cut out.
