9790 wifi hotspot
 

Hello,

I wonder if you can help please.
I have just taken delivery of a new 9790 and so far, I like it! (y)

I have however, been told that you can create a wifi hotspot with the phone for things like a laptop or tablet to connect through.

Is this correct or is the person who told me this, getting a wifi hotspot confused with BB Bridge?

If you have OS v7.1 installed on the 9790 and your carrier allows it, then you will have wifi hotspot capability (not BB Bridge - that is for the Playbook).

It may be an additional cost from your carrier.

Thanks for that, the next question may seem daft but, ........... here goes!

How do I know if its available and how do I set it up?
I've had a quick look and can't seen anything obvious :?

I've downloaded the software.
Is this update difficult to install?
Will it lock my phone to a Norwegian carrier?
Do you know of anyone that has had any issues with this update?
