New to the Pearl
 

For some reason I am getting static when using Blue Tooth with the Pearl in the magnetic holster. When I take it out the call is crystal clear. Any one know if this is a personal problem?

Also, is there a way to turn off the cheezy camera sound?

You're probably just catching interference from the holster. I'm not aware if Bluetooth is affected by magnets, but I've seen stranger things. And there are ways to silence the camera sounds, but they are usually quite convoluted. Do a search on the camera sounds, but I think it may just be your holster. Anyone else experienced this? I don't have the magnetic holster so I don't know.

Some report static if the holster is and the headset are on opposite sides of the body.

Off and on with the interference. For the most part (baring a low battery) I have great reception.

Sure enough, I switched holster to the same side I use the Blue Tooth and it now works flawlessly.
