BlackBerry Pearl and Curve - Self-Portraits
 

Since I've only used a BlackBerry post-camera craze, I've never had a camera phone prior to the Pearl. Needless to say, I finally took a picture of myself (WOOT!), sort of (covert ops and all that jazz). Well, that got me thinking. For those that don't mind posting up pictures, do so.

...don't take pictures of yourself while driving down the road, especially when it's raining and you've had 11 wrecks in the past. No wreck this time, but let's just say that oncoming traffic isn't too pretty on a rural two-lane doing 60 mph. :)

Oh yeah, for this 'project', try and make sure that your Pearl is in the picture (usually with the help a mirror). If enough people take part, I'll have them put up on BlackBerryCool, BBHub, etc., if they're interested in doing such an expose (I'm sure they will).

I'll help you out jibi... don't want to leave you hanging with the only self-portrait here :smile:

I do hope RIM releases a software update that will allow the Pearl to have more photo settings such as a time delay for shooting photos. Having the ability to record video similar to other smartphone devices would be a nice enhancement to the device. Last would be for RIM or a third party to make a small folding tripod for the Pearl.
