Contacts

One of my only real complaints with Blackberry has been the fact that my BES sync didn't discriminate and ended up combining all of my personal contacts with my Outlook business contacts with no way to separate them. Sure, there are categories but that only filters the contacts. It doesn't keep them separate and distinct.

Does the new Bold touch have this feature ala Android? This is a big issue for me.

Any response would be appreciated.

There are plenty of solutions:
BES, previous to 5.x ... in Outlook change your Contacts View to List, then highlight those that are personal and categorize them as such - I maybe wrong with the wording or exact direction but essentially you want to use BB> Contacts> Menu> Filter (Personal vs Business) to isolate between the two.

BES 5.0.x allows you to have 2 Contacts listed in Outlook to separate between Business & Personal. This way BES can isolate and categorize between the two.

Alternatively, most of your personal contacts you'd more than likely already know so I would use Option 1 first, until you're sure Option 2 is possible via BES 5.0.x
