free ebook reader that does not run in the background when not in use?
 

hello!

i recently bought a curve 8520 thanks to bb's sweet sweet blackberry messenger. coming from years and years of nokia use, i have little idea how a blackberry works.

one thing i must have with the 8520 is an ebook reader. i downloaded the mobireader from mobipocket, and it works great, except for the fact that i can't close it. it always runs in the background.

is there any way to make mobireader stop from running in the background? or is there another ebook reader that does not run in the background when i close it?

Click the menu button while the reader is open and select exit. If you select close, or use the back button, it will run in the background. If all your worried about is the app using data while its open in the background, don't be. It only uses data if you manually initiate it. If your worried about it using up your berry's cpu or ram, it has a very small footprint, and won't impact performance. If you have performance issues, look to other apps on your device.

however, there is no exit option when i press the menu button. the only option is close.

is there something that must be done for the exit button to appear?
