BB Pin HELP REQUIRED!
 

Hi Im thinking of getting Fido's offer for the Curve 8520 Which offers Free BBM on the 35$+ Plan, I'll be getting the Unlimited City Fido plan.

I don't want a curve, I was wondering if there is a way I could transfer my BBM pin from Curve to Bold 9700?

Problem: Getting BBM on a phone I don't want.

Fido Only offers Free BBM on the Curve 8520 & I want a bold 9700

Any idea how I could somehow transfer the BBM service from 1 phone to the other?

Please leave any comments/thoughts behind or even if you know someone else that is offering a better plan. (Please don't mention Anything But Fido, Rogers, Telus, Virgin or Bell

I know nothing about Fido or the Fido plan. To answer your question, however, the PIN on a device can't be changed.

Out of curiosity, I'm wondering if the situation is actually that Fido is offering that particular deal with purchase of an 8520 only, and ultimately it doesn't matter what model you use. In other words, it may be you purchase the 8520 and then associate any BlackBerry you want with your BIS account. That is unless there is more to the Fido service than I understand.

Fido offers Blackberry BIS as an addon, so if you have the U City Plan for 35, then you could go to this page Fido | Add-Ons and add 'Blackberry Email Add on $20'

BlackBerry Messenger, Windows Live Messenger, GoogleTalk, Yahoo!® Messenger.

I do know that if you have a device that Fido supports, then you just choose the plan that you want with as many of the 'add ons' as you want.
