DM for Mac WORKS!!!
 

This may be my first and last post, but I had to write... I got my first Mac two weeks ago and have been searching the web and this forum non-stop trying to get my Pearl to work as a modem and give me an internet connection on my Mac. Had absolutely no trouble on the Vista VM, but the Mac... I couldn't get it to work. I was totally displaced without an any time/any where internet connection. My combination of Alltel service and the very latest Mac OS complicated searching for a solution. Just last night Alltel tech support told me to give up.

And then DM for Mac came out. I'm thrilled to announce I've got a wonderful, fast internet connection on my Mac. I can tether or use bluetooth and it feels wonderful!!!

So thank you to all of you who posted with solutions in the past, because they (combined with DM) have me up and running again!

I don't know how much DM had to do with bluetooth working, but the thread "blackberryforums.com/general-8300-series-discussion-curve/137271-need-help-tethering-curve-8330-alltel-macbook.html" really helped me out.

Hope DM for Mac works as good for the rest of you as it did for me.

Good news! I'm lucky as well. It seems to be a well done piece of kit there. It's gonna' be nice not having to boot to Windows just to perform a sync or install an app. Well done, RIM!

Yes. Some of the beta releases were good as well. This was too importnat for RIM to not screw up as they compete with Apple.
