How to disable SMS from appearing in BBM chats?
 

How do i disable SMS from appearing in my BBM chats? Sometimes I use sms on some BBM contacts and it appears on my list of chats on the BBM. It gets confusing coz sometimes I respond to the SMS conversation instead of the BBM.

I have another BBM related question:

I understand that there are no charges for the use of BBM as long as i have a data plan. But are there charges for sending pictures or files through BBM? I'm curious coz I'm on a limited data plan.

I don't think it matters if you respond through the SMS window or the BBM window since they're linked, but I don't know if it sends the message through a text or by data. If you want to remove the link, go to the BBM contact(s) and hit menu. There's an option to "unlink" and that removes the PIN information for the contact(s). Sending pictures/files through BBM uses data so just be careful to not go over your limit.
