Upgrade BB software for Mac Users

I just got a BB 6230 (T-Mobile) and use a Mac. I would like to upgrade the OS from 3.7 to 4.0 to view Acrobat files. Is this possible without a PC?

At the moment no and Virtual PC is also out of the question. You will require a PC with the desktop manager installed.
