Incomplete calendar sync from Torch 9800 to Microsoft Outlook 2010

Environment:
Blackberry Desktop Manager 6.0.1
Windows 7 Professional
Outlook 2010
Torch 9800

When I make a new entry in Outlook 2010, it will sync onto the 9800. On the 9800 it has a "Send using" = Default. If I make any changes to this entry on the 9800 it will sync back to Outlook properly.

When I make a new entry on the 9800, it has a "Send using" = (my IMAP email account), and the entry will not sync to Outlook. The dropdown for "Send using" does not allow a choice of Default.

The sync process completes without error messages. Entries made on the 9800 remain on the 9800 but appear to be totally invisible to the sync process.

I have one calendar in Outlook stored in the main Outlook.pst. There are also email messages in another .pst file for my IMAP email account.

This is occurring for three users all set up at the same time. Any assistance is much appreciated.

Re: Incomplete calendar sync from Torch 9800 to Microsoft Outlook 2010

Here is the deal. If you have multiple email addressess setup for the BlackBerry, then you have multiple calendars. You define the default calendar (default CICAL) in default service in options. Desktop Manager sync's this default calendar with Outlook, and only this calendar. Any calendar entries in other calendars -- i.e. other than the address you have specified to be the default CICAL -- will not be sync'd with Outlook.

So, select the email address you want to be default, and set the default CICAL and default CMIME to that address. And any move all your other calendar entries in other calendars to that calendar.
