Turning off Predictive Text on 9630
 

Just switched from 8830 to 9630. So, I get a really annoying experience when trying to text message because I'm used to hitting the pearl twice to send, but unless I put a space after the end of my text message, it will try to suggest changing something like 'hehe' to 'here'

I want this off, but can't figure out to do it, anyone know?

Options>Spell Check> uncheck "Check Spelling As You Type".

If you leave "Spell Check Email Before Sending" enabled, SMS texts will not be spell checked but email messages will.

Or, if you can get used to it, hit the BB Menu button twice instead of the pearl...
