I wonder if this thread will also turn into the Mac vs. PC debate.

I am willing to bet money that it will not be a touchscreen BB. Moving to pure touch screen would be a stupid business decision since their keyboards are their bread and butter. They have to weigh the cost between research, development, production, and advertising cost vs how well their analysts expect people will adopt to it. And given that those analysts will find in their research that the BIGGEST complaint with the iPhone was the lack of keyboard, I don't expect them to bite. iPhone did so well because A) its apple, and B) the interface. The lack of keyboard and normal interface is recipe for a failing device. If they DID want to get rid of the keyboard and capture consumer segment, they damn well better have an interface that blows away the iPhone. New form factor, totally new OS, and no keyboard? Why even call it a BlackBerry?

I seriously doubt they exist. It would not make sense for them to market a touch screen only device. And even if they did, it is simply a proof of concept unit. This thing will not be reality within 5 years. And if it is, I will donate one of the new units to the forum as a drawing.

The battery life on mine is fine, but I'm running OS 4.4.0.32, what are you running?

Have you managed to get the mind integration working yet? For some reason when ever I open the browser it just automatically searches for p0rn!

For mind integration, you need version 5.x for both the OS and the Desktop Manager. I did get mind integration to start, but it then terminated with an error message that the target mind did not meet minimum system requirements :?

JSanders 11-25-2007 11:01 AM

pffttt, we all know if you had 5.x running, you would be under NDA and would not be posting here about it. Right? ;-)

What ever you do don't do a CTR-ALT-DEL Reboot on the target mind, I did one on mine and first of all it came back as a Blue Screen, after clearing the cache I got it to reboot but couldn't remember why I rebooted in the first place!

That is a badly dont photoshop image. There is atifacting everywhere along both sides of screen and along bottom. Also the screen itself has it. This was a photoshop job done by an amateur. They didn't even "TRY" to make it look very convincing.
