BB 8310 Calling problem
 

hey, My friend just send me this phone from uk to pakistan, its vodafone carrier and unlocked. my problem is when i make a call its voice break then again connect then again break the volume leveler shows up and down up and down continuously during the call. and strangely sometimes the media player automatically mute the sound when this calling problem occurs. Plz help me in this regards.
Is it possible that I can upgrade my phone version 4.2.2.145(265) to a newer version? If so Then how?
and how can i get the applications for my phone?

If you look at the top of this section (8300) you will see a sticky that has the latest OS for the 8310. The latest is version 4.5.

However, I am not sure that will do anything to fix your problems. From your description, it appears that you may have damage from either dropping the device or from moisture.

Have you tried a battery pull to see if that does anything?

What applications do you need? If you have a Blackberry dataplan, you can go to BB App World (if access is allowed in your country).
