Getting Html activation for Email

Verizon Carrier: My Curve 8330 has just had upgrade to ver 4.7 BB Manager with OS v4.5.0.77 for Verizon. But I don't seem to have html activated. Nor do I have the Options>Email line available to even activate html. One of the other forum sites suggested downloading a Sprint v4.5.0.198 ver and deleting the vendor.xml file before installing. Will this work and is this what I need to do to have my html formatted images appear in html readable fashion rather than long url addresses?

Welcome to the forums. (y)

You don't need to upgrade any further. There are new OS releases for the 8330.

You just need to resend your service books. How do I resend my service books? - BlackBerryFAQ

Keep in mind, only new messages (from the point you resend your service books) will be in HTML. All the email currently on the device will be plain text.

BIS 2.5 with OS Device 4.5 or BES 4.1 with OS device 4.5 its minimum requirements to get html message.

Beside enable HTML on email setting and service books, you can try hard reset.
