UMA Outage 12/07-12/12/2007
 

Anyone having UMA issues tonight? I've rebooted both my phone and wireless router. I can connect via WiFi just fine, just no UMA. Getting a W006.1 error; UMA has worked fine since I got my phone a month ago.

I'm in Wichita, KS.

I'm having the same issue. In Southern Oregon.

Im having UMA issues tonight here in DC. Im wondering if it's the weather? We had alittle sleet today. Getting error W006.1 and W005.1

I'm having the same issue here. Getting a W006.1 error. I haven't powercycled my router yet since I just don't feel like getting up to do that. :razz:

Moved this to it's own thread as I suspect this is a definite outage of some kind.

Mine is out and I'm located near Montgomery, AL.

No UMA in Denver, CO.

UMA out in Miami too (W006.1 error). The signal wasn't great this afternoon and it has been down for a few hours. I think the spread of our locations means it is a network-wide issue.

Yep. Their lines seem to be flooded. However, their first level reps seem to cheerfully think everything is ok on their coverage map.

On another note, my isp is comcast. I wonder if that is the problem.

Agreed. The ISP comment was more out of curiosity.

Oh, honestly, seeing as big as Comcast is it wouldn't shock me if everyone was using Comcast cable and it was an issue on their end ;).

I was out in Montgomery, AL but I'm back online with UMA access since 10:15pm Central Time.

I am back in Phoenix as well...

Does anyone still believe they have UMA servers in multiple regions instead of everything in a single DC? :P

Dead here in S.F. Bay Area, CA since about 4:00pm. 9:30 now and still out. First real UMA problem for me since I got the service 2 months ago...

UMA just popped back up for me.
