Best place to by another AT&T Curve or Unlocked Curve

Hello...

I was wondering where you would suggest to by another Curve...I just picked one up because my contract was up, but usually like to have an extra in case something (or my kids) cause an untimely death to my BB...I've never bought a phone off of Ebay, but have heard many nightmare stories...I'm also new to the forum and don't know the regular respectable/not scammer sellers...Any suggestions and price ranges to consider are greatly appreciated???...

You could check here on the forums, but I myself have bought many phones off of eBay and never had any problems, you just have to read the listing really really well and make sure that its ok.
Here is a example of what NOT to do.

Unlocked Blackberry

I have bought two new blackberry devices on ebay and while both worked, i didn't get what I ordered. The first "new" one was a refurbished unit so it looked now, just wasn't new. The second was sold as new but it had been used, with slight scuff marks on the device....clear indications of use. Plus, device pin had to be reset by AT&T since pin was registered to other user.

Since then, I've paid a slight premium for my latest 8310 since I bought it at the New York Blackberry Center (50th st in Manhattan i think so check google maps), but when they repaired my trackball and another when data stopped flowing to the device, the techs took care of everything both times. Time is money, so I more than made back the time I would have spent with AT&T on the phone to get it working again.

You typically DO get what you pay for...

AT&T will sell you another one. I think it's about $299 after MIR, which is usually a little less than you would pay for a brand new one elsewhere, esp. Ebay.

I have one I am getting ready to sell. I have sold several phones on here, and have great feedback. Mine is about two months old, has been dropped once so it has a little rash on the bottom front below they keyboard, but is otherwise in great shape. The screen has a protector on it. It is the AT&T titanium one, and is unlocked to work on T-Mobile. All the accessories that it came with are still in the box and have literally never been touched, because I had another Curve I broke and I just used those accessories. Any ways, I switched to Verizon yesterday and no longer have any need for this phone. PM me or email me at [email address] if you are interested.

Thanks!
