Very nice work! If you ever get bored and want to make that for an 81xx I would not complain.

Nice thanks

Bottom zens are THE best, thank you!

PS- Good choice of applications at the bottom.

I had the perfect wallpaper for it too. I really like this theme...

Nice theme! Too bad it doesn't work well with OS 4.5 (the 2nd icon on the bottom dock doesn't show up.)

John Clark 06-02-2008 01:54 AM

Gonna be hard for theme builders to get themes for 4.5 when the 4.3 plazmic hasn't been released yet. Hopefully, soon.

Did you make sure to have your messages options settings for Email and SMS inbox set to "Seperate"?

No it's set to theme controlled. I changed the setting to "separate" and downloaded the theme again and it works. (y) I thought it wasn't working because of the 4.5 OS. In the past with a few different themes and OS 4.5 I had home screen icons not show up like the browser, BlackBerry Messenger, etc...

To the original poster. I was looking at your site. I was really impressed with your Cartoonix theme.

starsrblind 06-02-2008 08:30 AM

Yeah he makes some great stuff. I have the JC Pink theme too.

gadgetfanatic 06-02-2008 09:06 AM

Great theme but the Blackberry Messenger Icon won't show on the bottom no matter which one of the 5 spots I put it in.

MrKyoo 06-02-2008 09:40 AM

Very nice work, well done. And I especially like the fact that you provided a download link to your theme instead of making users search for it on another site.

Jason, another winner !! Any chance for an 8700 version (4.2.1)?

Unfortunately that is a limitation beyond my control. The 5 apps are not customizable by the user like the default zen theme. I tried to include the 5 most used apps overall in general. I personally HAVE to have the messenger icon on the homescreen, but I know that a lot of people dont use messenger or even have it installed for that matter, which is why I do not have it on the homescreen in most of my zen/today screens on public releases.

This style is only compatible with 4.2.2+, sorry :(

I use BBMessenger as much as anyone else. However, I hide all icons that have keyboard shortcuts ("n" is BBMessenger.) I use my zen screen for JiveTalk, Password keeper, BBWeather, TeleNav and a shortcut icon that takes me to my flight schedule. Just a thought.

Thank you!

It's just common courtesy. I believe that if a developer is using this site as a way to promote his/her product whether it be free or paid product, they should show some respect and give people the option of having a direct link as well as the link to their site.
