When will the Storm become available online?

It's past midnight in parts of the US, but there's no sight of the Storm on Verizon's consumer website.

yup, you got it. i almost ordered it, but decided to give my local corp store a shot to see if they have any (i called and left my info with them).

if i dont hear anything by mid afternoon, i will order it online :)

Good Luck with that....their site is really bogged down right now. I added the phone to the cart but then did not get very far before the site died. Once it came back up I keep hitting the Add to cart button and it does not add it to the cart.
