Problem installing Blackberry Professional Software, SQL error
Hi all.
I'm trying to install the BPS on my Small Business Server 2003 at work using the built in Exchange 2003 (SP2). I've created the besadmin account, followed the directions, done the reboot, now when it asks about Database Settings, I get the following error. "An attempt to upgrade the Database was unsuccessful. An error occured while executing an SQL statement." All the info on the DB setup screen got left at default, local database, the server name was auto populated as were the DB name and port. The authentication mode is windows trusted. I've verified that SQL service is running in the system tray (green play button). I've checked the SQL logs, and this is the last entry in there. Quote:
Does anyone have any suggestions on what to try? I'm pretty new to anything SQL related, so I haven't done any troubleshooting on that front because I don't have a clue where to start on that front. Thanks for any help :) |
Never mind, I got it figured out. The DB setup screen was pointing to servername, not servername\sql instance. Changing that worked, now I just need to get 3101 open so I can validate the SRP key.
