Got some red stuff for my Bold
 

Got myself a red leather battery door and red trackball fitted to my Bold today (courtesy of the folks at CNN.cn) and the pics are below: -

Firstly the "red" trackball clearly lights up orange and to be honest is of low quality compared to the OEM Black coloured Trackball fitted to the 8900 Curve.

Secondly the red leather battery door i thought was an actual OEM Blackberry item however it is plainly just like the crocodile skin-esque - slapped onto a leatherless back.

I'm certainly now gonna be saving up for the ColorWare items now they ship the parts separately 8-) oh yeah!

Think i might copy Conker's style and get Yellow parts for my Bold!

The back door looks pink. It must just be the pics

Yeah it's the camera - i was using a Blackberry 8110...

Dunno how to improve the quality of it (might just be the fact that 2 megapixels isn't all that!)

Any suggestions would be welcome

Friend of mine recently ordered and received the "red" door; in person, it is quite gross. He is disappointed with it as well.

I put on the black bezel and I use a smooth black plastic battery door. The smooth plastic door makes using the Fortte sleeve much easier.

I can understand the trackball disappointment. I ordered one in pink for my wife's bold (along with black housing, buttons, etc...) and was very disappointed with the trackball. It did not want to scroll up or down if you had the slightest bit of pressure on the ball itself. After changing the orientation of the trackball, it moved to the vertical axis. My wife messed with it for a while and finally gave up. She now has her original trackball installed and is waiting on a black G1 ball.

That red trackball is hot
