hey guys anybody know how to get the french language pack for the storm?

i just selected "french" under my language options....but i have a 9530

No there is only english and britsh english.no other languages..

what do you mean language pack? like UI language, SureType technology input language? french keyboard?

because i just switched my phone to French for UI and also for input...i also have spanish and british english and us english and english without a culture-country...i even have two french options for "voice dialing" language....french and french canada

so maybe this is not available for your 8830?

Its not for me its for my buddy.I think when the telus person prepared it the selected english in the quick set up and it deleted all the other languages?
Cause there is oly english as a choice.that is why I was asking if there is. Like a language pack that I can put back in his phone?

there is, but it wasn't installed it sounds like...so he/she needs to reinstall it either by installing the OS or just selecting it from the desktop loader

oh so from the desktop manager you can select it??

i believe so...try it and see...
