Breaking News!!! Rimm loses another round.

Stock is halted....While I'm sure, Rimm service as we know it will survive the storm, I think this will be the beginning of lower prices...how is it that tmobile is able to charge 19.99 for unlimited blackberry...but everywhere else, the starting point is 45??

I see this as primarily a money issue. Once the liability is lifted I am looking for a takeover of RIM.

Try using a T-Mobile once. You will find it won't work in a lot of places. Sure you get reception on interstates and in most metropolitan areas. But not much else. Of course mileage may vary. I too was seduced by the lower prices, but way pay 50% to only have the blackberry work 40% of the time. I could never get a signal at my house (I live in the suburbs) or at work (giant concrete bomb-shelter type building. And pretty much entering any build would cause me to loose signal, unless I was standing near a window. (n) Every other carrier works just fine, so what gives? 8-)

Wow, this is crazy. I can't believe that the judge is ignoring the patent office. Absolutely rediculous.

I would buy RIM stock, I'm sure it will go back up soon. Their stock is down 5% as we speak.

We have enough threads on this already - there had been an excessive surge of redundant threads on this, so I will close this one.

All parties, please post news, comments, rebuttals in this thread.

[Edit: This thread is now moved to this new forum that the administrator created, so this thread is now reopened, now that it does not interfere with the regular General Forum.]
