Address Book Sync problems
 

I have some users who have problems when they make a change in their outlook address book. It doesn't sync with their Blackberry. If they make a new entry, it's OK.

What version of BES do you have and what environment?

Excange 2003

sync, you mean wireless sync ? had you check wireless sync to set on ?

Yes the sync is on. The problem some user have is if they make a change in their address book in Outlook, it doesn't sync with their Blackberry. If it's a new enrty, it's fine...

I am facing the same issue. Add/Delete addressbook entry is fine. Just updating a number or email address does not propagate until hours or days later.

I also am having the same problem. Users make changes to their address book on the BB device and it will not sync to their outlook wirelessly. Same as if they make changes to a contact in Outlook and change is not passed to the Blackberry.

What version of exchange and version CDO.DLL on BES?

I have exchange 2003 and the CDO.DLL on the BES is 6.5.8153.0

the have problem in BES software and the fix in MR2

the issue is really related to the Dev Task DT506252. This means that the issue is resolved with the new maintenance release MR2 that will be available from 17th of March.
