Alarm does not sound when screen is locked
 

Hello,

since I've upated my BB 8900 to 5.0.0.592 (official release of my provider), the alarm clock is not ringing when the phone is locked.

When it's unlocked there is no problem and the alarm is sounding.

But when it's locked it does only display an information about the alarm on the screen, but no sound :smileysad: How can I fix that? I'dont want to get too late too often!!!

I found the problem now!

The alarm is only not sounding on my device when you have activated vibrations for the alarm and the phone is locked.
If I don't use vibrations for alarams, it is also sounding when it's locked.

Do you have the same behavior?

ive never heard of a problem like that before. like you said its probably just because you were in vibrate mode or had your alarm on vibrate so you were not hearing your alarm.

heck you can turn your phone off and it will still turn its self on to sound your alarm.
