blackberry 8520 micro sd card crash

i resently brout my first blackberry phone i ad a nokia n97 mini and i had no end ov proplems with it so i went and brout a bb 8520 on orange but it had a 2gb micro sd card in it but i use my phone for music so decied to buy a 8gb micro sdhc card but evry time i put it in to the phone and then select a media album it crashes or lags bad just wonderd if any one new if i was doign somethink rong or if there was anythink i could do to resolve it thanks :) neale

You need to format the card in the Blackberry prior to loading music on it. Menu>Options>Memory>Media Card>Menu>Format
